ACG Worldwide, India, and KORSCH AG, GERMANY, announce their JV to jointly develop and produce tablet compression systems in India. The equipment will be both advanced and affordable and with full regulatory compliance and pharma documentation. The manufacture will be implemented through ACG-PAM, the Mumbai-based flagship engineering company of ACG Worldwide.
The JV will expand the global footprint of both partners. Tabletting machines are the most vitally needed equipments in the pharma industry.
KORSCH is a world leader in tablet presses and brings nine decades of experience and tradition to the new joint venture. ACG-PAM’S strengths include a large highly skilled workforce, mass production facilities, and several thousand installations worldwide, especially pharma capsule fillers.
Mr. Karan Singh, Director of ACG-PAM, remarked, “the JV products are expected to storm the world pharma markets. For the first time a global brand name and advanced German design and reliability in tablet presses will be partnered by experience and affordable costs in India.”
Till the new models are established, ACG-PAM will continue to offer their existing model (LEGACY) with lifetime service. The JV will have the advantage of established worldwide sales channels and offices of both partners.

The first JV machine will be exhibited at the CPHI/P-MEC exhibition at Mumbai in December 2009 and commercial production will commence from January 2010.
ACG Worldwide has a record of successful manufacturing partnerships including with Glatt, Alcan and Theegarten Pactec of Germany, Honeywell of USA and Proditec of France.
ACG Worldwide offers a complete range of pharma solid dosage equipments and consumables, including fluid bed processors, capsule fillers, tablet presses, blister packing and cartoning machines, case packers, tablet tooling and camera inspection systems.
